I have been bit by a "bug". Let me explain: I seem to go through stages in my life where I do one thing in excess- example: shopping a ton one week, or exercising religiously for a week, or cleaning everyday for a few days, last month it was the macro photography for a while, or ....doing lots of crafting. This weekend it was sewing! So I know aprons are huge right now, and I have a few. I have one that I love that is actually from JAPAN. My darling sister in-law gave it to me, when she lived there for a while. I have always wanted to make one like it because I really like this style of apron. So I sort of made up my own version of it this weekend. Because I joined this apron swap on http://www.afeatherednest.blogspot.com/ I thought I should get some practice and experiment. Besides, it is fun- and I always need a project even when I have like ZERO extra time. This is the finished product. Please try to notice the apron and not the model. :) Should I make another one this style or try something new? Hmmmm.....
very cute
ReplyDeleteI really like the way it looks in the back! Very cute.
ReplyDeleteLove the fabric and the stlye. I'm making an apron for a family reunion, to raffle off. Only have it cut though. Hopefully, I'll get it sewn this weekend.
ReplyDeleteSharla, this is super cute! I'm impressed you found time to sew with the two kids...my son never lets me sew, well, okay, he lets me sew but wants to help...not a good idea haha. So, when you start selling these I'd love one! Of course, I'll always take one for free...but they are totally worth selling. :)
