It happened. About two weeks ago! I was scheduled to have my C-section TODAY. BUT things happened and they came about 2 weeks ago. It has been quite an adjustment to have to take care of two babies. Two babies is a lot more work than one.So if I don't get back here for a while, you will know why.
I have quite the story to tell about their birth- as it was a true miracle that they came when they did. Right now besides doctor appts, and feeding babies, and trying to recover, I'm also trying to figure out how on earth I can be a good mother to SIX boys!
Thanks for reading for all your sweet comments and support!

CONGRATULATIONS!!!!! Such adorable little peanuts. I love their names, and the shot you got of the older boys looking down on them is ridiculously precious. What a great group you have there!!!
ReplyDeleteBless you. What a wonderful miracle.
ReplyDeletePrayers for you! Did you join a twin group? Ours brings dinners to new moms. That saved us. We just had number 4... we have such bad babies! Have you watched the happiest baby on the block DVD? We thought we knew it all but have a much happier kid with a bit of fine tuning... of course he is almost 3 months...I will send you my copy if you like!
ReplyDeleteCongrats!!! You are an amazing woman and an amazing mother!!! Just remember to take care of yourself (easier said then done, I know, haha) Enjoy those babes and congrats again!
ReplyDeleteYay! They are so adorable and I'm just so happy they came safely. Congrats Sharla. You are a wonderful mother just to be willing to have them and take care of them. All the rest will take care of itself...with Heavenly Father's help. Best of luck getting through this first year.
ReplyDeleteI'm so happy for you! This is the most important time in your life, strive to cherish the moments, for all to soon they grow up and leave.
ReplyDeleteAs a mother of 9, I understand the overwhelming feelings of "heaven help me"!! I didn't have twins, just 9 in 15 years. Trust your Heavenly Father that he will strengthen your back to bear this and let people help you.
Our youngest daughter and baby of the family, left in August for. Paraguay to serve a mission, it was a hard/happy day. It's over sooner than you know.
Hi Sharla, congratulations - I know exactly what you are going through, having been there myself 40 years ago. It's lots of fun though!! I'm just stopping by to say how delightful your blog is. Thanks so much for sharing. I have recently found your blog and am now following you, and will visit often. Please stop by my blog and perhaps you would like to follow me also. Have a wonderful day. Hugs, Chris
