Covering Books with Fabric


These books belonged to my Great-Grandma. I think they are very pretty.

These are some of my favorite books, but I think  they could look prettier-since they are always on the nightstand- just being displayed.

This took all of 10 minutes and made a big difference on our nightstands! It isn't permanent, so I can re-use the fabric later for something else.

See...you don't have to sew to enjoy pretty fabrics!
Pretty fabrics really cheer me up...especially right now- I think I need some new fabric....

  1. oh my goodness...this is brilliant. i would never have thought to use it that way. it looks fantastic. such a huge impact for something so easy. my favorite way to use fabrics is in quilts.

  2. That's a great idea for the books I don't SO much love. I've needed some specific colors of books for my living room. Maybe I'll try this.
