Does anyone else have this problem? I guess I have used all my "free storage" space and now they want me to pay money to put photos on my blog.
Being that I do not use my blog to make money- just to share- I find it interesting that now I have to pay money to continue blogging....hhmmm- not sure how I feel about this.
So stay tuned.... while I figure this out....

ReplyDeleteI too had to to buy extra storage space so that i could continue using Picasa and ultimately continue blogging. :( It's still cheaper than hosting it somewhere else.

I had the same problem. I actually went with a Flickr account instead of Picasa. I like that it's another way for people to see and search the photos. You can publish photos to a blog from there, or just cut and paste. You will eventually have to buy storage with them too, but it will postpone that. The most important thing is to decide NOW the direction you want to take so you're not making another change later on down the road.
ReplyDeleteYou could use Photobucket, which has a limit too, but that would buy you some time. I also have two different gmail accounts and so two different Picasa accounts. It adds an extra step for posting pictures, but it is still free!

It may be cheating but I just created a new email address and sign in and added the new sign in as a contributor and gave myself the free storage again.
