Is it just me, or do you feel like technology has really changed our friendships?? We don't call, we text. We don't go next door to borrow a cup of sugar, we post it on Facebook. We don't even talk to anyone sometimes, and believe them to be mad or upset, because of how we interpreted an email that we read when we were already assuming things about the person even though we never even talked to them. We get upset if someone doesn't answer or email or text right away. I mean we take our phones/tablets/devices everywhere and look at them every other minute. We rarely look up anymore, we are so plugged in. I think you see where this is headed....
Sometimes we don't even talk to people in real life.
Today I tried to talk to a neighbor. It took several times of me saying "hi" before she said "hi" back and I could tell it was "awkward". But she sure is comfortable sharing and responding to everything online.
So I made this for all those friends out there. Because seriously, when you can talk about any and everything online to someone, but can hardly say "hi" when you see them in real life, that is a true friendship. {we've all been there....}
BAHAHAHA!
that is a riot!
