Halloween Tree

all-hand-made- stuff -festive-Halloween-Tree...

My son was so excited to help with this candy garland that we put on the tree.....and below- using up the rest of the candy for an easy afforable center piece....

Who says you can't have a Halloween Tree? I wanted to make one like this ... but just a little too much right now-so we did this instead. After going to TWO Targets today- no one had candy corns-what is everyone doing with these-because they are sold out everywhere!- Do tell if you have a good idea for using candy corns. Anyway- we made some garland, and used fabric scraps to decorate our little tree. Talk about decorating on a budget! FYI- Making candy corn garland is not as easy it sounds. Lots of the candy corns break. But the pumpkins work really well with no breakage. I am really surprised- my kids are not interested in eating any of this candy-just in tearing the display down- but I'm sure after a while it will lose its novelty.... How are you decorating for FALL and Halloween?

I found you through muffin tin monday. Just love the Halloween tree, bummed about how hard candy corn is to string, that was stinkin' cute.

You are honestly amazing. Where do you find all of your great ideas. That is an incredible tree. I want to be one of your kids - you guys have so much fun!

I just looked at the link to the other tree. I think you have Martha's beat! You need to send them a picture of yours.

Super cute tree!! I am just barley breaking out the Halloween decorations. But you've given me some food for thought. Thanks!

Your tree is cuter than Martha's.

You ask what people are doing with the candy corns...exactlty what I would do with them...eat them.

So adorable! I always have great intentions, but no time to do cute things like this!

And about the candy corns, I bought about 5 bags on sale on Monday and we've already eaten them all! They're my favorite!

And since I never sent you my email address, here it is: lalakme at gmail dot com. Sorry! :)

I love your tree! Martha's is cute, too, but yours is something more like I would want to make. You never cease to amaze me with your talent and great ideas!

Wow! Very cute. I'm just stuck on the idea of making a stocking for my new little one. I have no room in my head right now for other projects yet :) But hopefully I can store this idea in there somewhere for next year! Love it.
