Decorate with Photos

Framing some Autumn photos...

How our photo wall usually looks...

I love photography. Someday I'll get my "dream camera" and be able to do so much more. For now I am making do with what we have- a Sony Cyber-shot which is a pretty good little pocket camera. For a long time I have been wanting to use some of the photos I have taken over the years to decorate for the seasons. Finally, this year I did it. I have a wall of photos in my house, and I just changed most of them for Autumn-like photos. I plan to do the same at Christmas time. To store them, I am just going to use a binder with plastic pages, and store one in each slot. I did not do anything over an 8 x10, so they will be easy to store. My photos that are over 8 x10 will just remain the same all year long. What easy things do you do at your house to decorate for the changing seasons?

That is a wonderful idea! I have a wall downstairs that would be perfect to do that on.

Cute wall. Love it.

So, I had (well, still have) a Sony Cybershot, and you can still do plenty of good stuff with it. Have you read your camera's manual? If you start using manual mode with that camera, when you get your "dream" camera it will be all that much easier to get used to. Some of my favorite shots have been with my old point and shoot. I think you're doing great!
