My Biggest Project Ever {or why the pace of this blog has changed lately}

So I may as well tell you- if anyone still reads this blog- why the past several months, I have s-l-a-c-k-e-d in the blogging department. We are expecting...twins. While we know it will be a challenge, we see this as a blessing! We wanted a #5 so badly, and now we get a #5 AND a #6. While I haven't thrown-up once- and I'm 14 weeks along now- I have felt tired, and a little nauseated at night. I still don't believe it is actually happening, and am in total denial, until I see it on the ultrasound screen. Even then, after I see it, I go on, and still can't believe it.  In the meantime, I  am  teaching preschool, and working another job from home, a seasonal job scoring educational tests from the computer. Sitting on your rear everyday in front of the computer, really makes you not want to sit on it any extra time than necessary- especially when it is growing already on its own due to pregnancy... Oh yeah, and I have 4 crazy energetic boys.  So I've been a little busy. I have big plans to blog about some fun stuff- and hopefully those plans will actually happen!! My energy has started to come back a little, and so that is good! I hope to get some stuff posted! Tomorrow- I actually have a great give-a-way I will be posting!

 In the meantime, just know, I'm growing two people right now and that takes a lot of work!

If you are still reading, thank you! Thank you for supporting me, in my efforts to "find the gems", share joy, and create.

Congratulations! Growing babies takes way more work than growing a blog, enjoy your process, it is way more important!

SUPER DUPER AMAZING NEWS!!!!! A million best wishes heading your way. I am an identical twin, and I can personally attest that it is an amazing thing to be. She is my partner in crafting crime and my greatest friend. What fun to watch your little twins develop their own special relationship. They will be a major blessing to you and your whole family!

Congratulations! My twins will turn 6 this year - one bit of twin pregnancy advice - have your vitamin D checked...mine was super low and I have so much more energy once I started (and kept) taking a tiny supplement from Costco. They say you can't really get enough from the sun and nursing moms should be taking about 4000 IU a day - my prenatal vitamin only has 400 IU, not nearly enough! Hang in there - its a great adventure! Oh and find a twin group to join - mine was a life saver!

congrats! I am a proud grandparent of twins, a boy and girl, so I am empathetic to the twin pregnancy. I managed to see my daughter everyday during her pregnancy. I know its no walk in the park, but well worth it. hang in there and rest when you can, ha ha. Paula
