Friday Night, Pizza Night

When Aaron and I were newly married, we had pizza every Friday night. Back then we had Little Cesar's 5 dollar pizza. Well since then, we have tried to have pizza every Friday- but homemade and different varieties. It is kind of a little tradition we want to have in our family. This is one of our favorite pizzas (recipe from Sara) and we have this one often. Here is how we do it at our house:
Rhodes Frozen Rolls or any frozen dough
Chicken- any kind precooked
mozzarella or any cheese
BBQ sauce
cilantro
red onion
Prepare dough by defrosting rolls and letting them rise a little bit- if frozen this could take several hours. After they have risen, shape them into little pizza crusts. Cover and let them rise again, for about a half hour. Cook at 350 for 5-10 minutes. You aren't fully cooking the dough, just partly. Pull out and spread BBQ sauce on top, cheese, chicken, cilantro, and red onion, chopped. Put back in oven and cook for about 10 min. or so. Delicious!
Full credit for this pizza recipe is given to SARA for posting it on her blog sometime ago. Thanks- we love it. Stay tuned for more Friday night pizza ideas soon.
We are indeed grateful for pizza and Friday nights.
