At least for us, a rain storm in the summer is very welcomed-as long as you are not driving in it and your power doesn't go out. Where we live, it is over 100 degrees for over 100 days about every year. So we love when the Monsoons come. Today, we decided to go to a nice swimming pool in town, and the second there is lightning or thunder, they have everyone leave the pool. Needless to say, we did not get to swim for very long. Oh well, there will be another sunny day for the pool later. Right now, we are enjoying the feel, sound, and smell of the raindrops, lightning, and thunder!
