Halloween Tealight Holder

This idea came from the October 2008 Family Fun Magazine. I did mine just a little differently.
Here is what you will need:
scissors-but you can just tear the paper
a sponge brush
black paint
modge podge
one straight pin
a glass container(a baby food jar or something else)
a hole punch
black paper- I used cardstock and scrapbook paper but it asks for construction paper
1. tear or cut paper into various pieces and punch holes in sets of two.
2. Apply modge podge w/ sponge brush to glass jar. Put paper on top, and modge podge over the top of the paper.
3. Repeat the above process until jar is covered as desired.
4. Allow modge podge to dry.
5. When dry, using the head of the straight pin, and the black paint, carefully place a dot- for a pupil- inside of each hole punch eye.
6. When dry, put a small tealight candle inside, and enjoy.
I thought it would be fun to do different ones- like make one look like a jack-o-lantern using orange paper and a triangle punch, a mummy w/ tissue paper and leaving space to paint some eyes...etc. If you do luminaries for Halloween- how fun would something like this be? ..fun activity for the whole family!

Ooh, I want to do this! There are so many fun possibilities with different jar sizes and paper, sitting in a window or something. Thanks for the idea!
