We love The Very Hungry Caterpillar by Eric Carle-so much that I wrote a WeightWatchers/weight loss version ( if you know the story it goes sort of like this: if you eat really bad- just eat salad the next day and you will feel better)
What fun for Muffin Tin Monday- Children's Literature- and oh the things I thought of for this one-- too many for now- we'll have to save for another day! Here is what we did for today with the Very Hungry Caterpillar:
We did the "junk food" page from The Very Hungry Caterpillar. The beauty of Muffin Tin Meals is that you try to use what you have on hand. I wanted to get to the store to get watermelon and hot dogs and ice cream cones for this one-but we just used what we had at home instead. THE MENU: chocolate cake, a go-yogurt, pickle, string cheese, ham, applesauce muffin, tomato wedges, and some peaches (had to eat something healthy with all that junk!)

I think you needed to serve more junk food :) No pie, ice cream or lolly pop. Your poor little boys.
Way cute!
What a cute idea! You continue to amaze me!
I can't wait to use your ideas with my own boys! Thanks :)
These are always so fun.
Hey, just thought of an idea - could you do this with the "Today is Monday" book? It gives a food for every day, but maybe not ones you'd have on hand???
Found you through a Google search! We just did a Very Hungry Caterpillar muffin tin this week, and I wanted to see what else was out there. Very cute! :-)
