Sabbath 11/16

"For the Beauty of the Earth"
I know where you are it is probably gray, snowy, cold, etc.
But where we live, this is what we saw yesterday. We have a great park in the center of town that has this amazing rose garden with all types of different roses. The roses bloom usually about in April. I was surprised to see so many still there-some looking better than others-but roses nevertheless-in November!
We enjoyed walking around and smelling the different varieties. We love this rose garden-a little oasis in the desert.

We may not have beautiful roses in bloom right now, but I don't think we could ask for a better day in November. We just came back from a walk. I didn't even wear a jacket (could have something to do with being 7 1/2 months pregnant and hot all the time). The sky is blue without any clouds and it's currently 55 degress.

Thanks for the post~I could almost smell the roses as I imagined being there despite the cold weather here. Thank goodness we can still see the ground, though!

Absolutely beautiful.

Isn't this fall strange? We're having a heat wave here in So. Cal.right now, it was around 80 degrees yesterday. I would be ecstatic about the weather, but my new fall tops are just sitting in my closet, calling to me to wear them.
